Week Five, new recruits and muddy boots

A very busy and successful week, we welcomed Dave to our group and he set to work sowing lettuce and spinach beet in our cat proof crates. We continued building our mini rockery and a very helpful cat who had been digging for victory provided a very nice hole for our rosemary plant.

We are building a lovely friendly group of people who don’t mind getting stuck in clearing beds, digging, weeding and most importantly laughing and smiling as we do it.

I’m looking forward to next week when Dave will come into his own, using his scouting skills building a cloche for our peppers, aubergines and cucumbers, if its warm enough to put them outside.

Hello my name is Annie and along with my husband Dave we run Craftyannies Home. We hold Crafty workshops for all ages and abilities ranging from our Schools Out Craft Club, one to one sessions to our Craftyise sessions. We try to use re-cycled items as much as possible and show people how to use their imaginations and customise what they already have. You can usually find us in Hailsham with our paints, stickers, beads and bits encouraging people to get in touch with their Crafty side
